I was just thinking this. Woody was a tremendous player but what LA did this year as the only senior on the team was unbelievable. When we needed a big three, we knew LA was gonna take it. LA has gone to 2 NCAA tournaments now with 1 win under his belt and possibly more. That deserves #1 on my list.

Hard to look towards next year right now, but were gonna have a pretty damn good team next year as well.

I loved Woody too. But LA carrying the team on his back during the Oklahoma game and this last one to propel them to the dance again. Definitely gives him the edge.

    I agree with Woody 1A LA 1B.

LA has been good since he was a frosh. Awesome to see him literally carry his team to a conference title his senior year.

we will miss LA next year but I think the program is in good hands

he has had a great career, and hopefully another notch to add to it.

I mean really did anyone think when he started he would have 2 conference titles, 2 tourney appearances, and 1 tourney win on his resume

    great career

That may be, but what LA has done is going to get us new players for the next 5-10 years.

LA was on McFeely and they video taped it. Saul called in.
It will be up on kfgo shortly.

    5. Soon to be AJ Jacobson and kid may be higher on this list when his career is done
    ^This.
Scary to think how AJ will look and play as a junior and senior. Wait until he adds some muscle and the game slows down even more for him. I know it's early, but I think he finishes #1 on that list*.

    *Preposterus statement? Maybe a little.

Woodside still has to be the gold standard. However, I don't think you can say that anyone who's worn that NDSU basketball jersey, Woodside included, is more clutch than LA. He seems to play biggest when the moment is biggest. It takes more than just natural ability to be able to rise to the occasion like that and it's not something that's coachable either. LA just has "it".
