Hat's off to the Jacks

It is fun to have the smack talk thread, but I get scared every time we play them. As the lead keep shrinking the other night I thought I was going to need CPR.

100% agree! I was at the game Tuesday and since I now live in Sioux Falls, I went with friends and co-workers who were all Jacks fans and the atmosphere was electric and both fan bases were very respectful to each other (save for a few too drunk fans). I will say though that the Jack fans did not appreciate the Bison Horns and yell of "Bison" at the end of the national anthem, that drew quite a bit of boos, but Jack fans should have known that was going to happen...

With the increased capacity of the Premier Center hopefully there will be even more NDSU fans in attendance in years to come, but with the finals being on a Tuesday I can understand that with work and school, etc. it can be hard to travel mid-week like that.

And it was quite an accomplishment for all the attendance records being broken for the girls games as well.

Not only hats off to the Jacks. Hats off to the Jacks fans. When you get an atmosphere like that it really goes a long way in changing the perception of our conference. When the average Joe turns on espn and sees an atmosphere like that, it reeks BIG TIME. Yes, big time basketball is played in the Dakotas and in the Summit League.

Once more Bison fans realize you can buy upper deck seats the day of the event and Omaha is eligible, the tournament will be taken to another level of attendance.

Really excited about the conference. Good teams. New arenas. Great tournament.

I see once again the Jacks have decided to rep the "STATE" jerseys on national TV. Who makes the marketing decisions over there? Do they realize that STATE means nothing to anyone that sees this game.
