Gophers picked up two commits last night from twin brothers, Elijah and Elisha Daniels. Safety and a corner.

TCU is 13 point favorites over Gophers 1st game. FYI
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?

Gophers are holding their annual BBQ in the next few weeks. Lot of their commits for this year, but quite a few 2017 kids are coming as well.

Pre-season rankings by BTN show Gophers with top O-Line in the Big 10 West

    1. Minnesota. Line coach Matt Limegrover continues to build a front that gets better. Center Tommy Olson and guard Zac Epping are gone. Still, this should be Limegrover’s best line yet for a unit that led a physical rushing attack that ranked No. 28 in America in 2014. Eight players return who have at least of eight games of experience and 88 combined starts.
The right side will feature returning starters in guard Josh Campion (who also can play tackle)
and towering tackle Jonah Pirsig. Left guard Joe Bjorklund is the other starter back. Ben Lauer is the man at left tackle, with Ohio State transfer Brian Bobek likely the new center. Jon Christenson and Connor Mayes also are options at center, the most interesting position to watch. Isaac Hayes offers depth at guard. Foster Bush is capable of starting at tackle.

Gophers pick up an interesting verbal for 2016 (13th overall) (8th in-state verbal)
Athlete Kamal Martin - 6' 3" 210 lbs - plays QB for Burnsville MN
Martin had verbaled to Eastern Michigan as a QB, before camping with Minnesota and then being offered as an Ath.

A bit off topic, but don't want to start a new thread.

Looks like B1G is formalizing no FCS games; it was at their news conference today if I am understanding this right.

Can someone please implode the current FBS structure? I am sick and tired of NDSU being treated like they are lower quality than a MAC school.

    You can say that again.
"It's important in this life to dream big" - Brock Jensen during one of Kolpack and Izzo's pregame shows of the 2014 season.

"If you quit now, you quit for the rest of your life" - Chris Board 8/17/16 in the forum article.
