So ineligible Omaha has more of a chance of winning the tournament than Western Illinois? That must be embarrassing...

Chances to win Summit auto-bid: (based on Sagarin type rating of conference games and assumes neutral tournament site)

    SDSU 72%
    NDSU 11%
    IPFW... 8%
    ORU.... 6%
    Denver 2%
    USD.... 1%
    IUPUI.. 1%
    WIU.. <1%

    Currently the matchups would be:
#1 SDSU vs #8 Western Illinois
#4 IPFW vs #5 South Dakota

    #2 NDSU vs #7 IUPUI
#3 Oral Roberts vs #6 Denver

I don't know who I would rather face in Semifinals, ORU or IPFW?

ORU but not by a lot. Sagarining the conference performances to date suggest about a point and a half. IPFW would be a 51/49 proposition. ORU 58/42.

Bottom line we have to beat the 3 best team in the Summit in a row to go dancing. It is totally possible, but can't go cold from 3 point range or we will be done in the 1st round.

After seeing how some of the games went this week this Tournament is up for grabs.
