    It sucks in that the timing is bad and that Derek is a pretty good dude. However, due to the nature of NCAA wrestling, there are a lot of talented young coaches who will be happy to fill in Derek's spot, especially now that they are competing in a premium conference.

    With that said, I wish Derek the best and I hope the move helps his career. Its tough to move up in the coaching ranks at NDSU due to how young the other coaches are.

    I wonder how big a factor the lack of training partners for DSJ with Bison WC was in this move. If DSJ has legit dreams to become a head coach or to become a national team member, it makes plenty of sense
