Anybody know why Matt Gray hasn't been wrestling since November? He's a top 30ish 165 and would be a great solution to a huge hole. I assumed he was injured, but don't know for certain. Has he gotten too big for 165, injured, or left the team? I really don't think they win the conference without him

I've been wondering about that too, but unfortunately, news about this kind of thing seems really hard to come by. They always make a big deal when someone commits to the team, but quite a few guys have left this year, and nothing has been said about it. I hope Gray is still around.

I emailed a member of the staff, and got this: "Matt Gray is recovering from a hip surgery, at this point we are not sure if he will be back this year but it certainly is not ruled out.". That was my first time reaching out to a member of the staff for info like this, and I was pleasantly surprised to get a useful response. Hopefully he can get back to full strength this year or next. He's a talented kid and fun to watch
