Does any remember the days when some thought going FCS =ed the end of watching ND boys play football?

There is just something about yesterday that makes me smile!

For 11 years we have been going to EVERY Bison home FB game, not just because our son was Thundar for 5 of those FB seasons, but because so many didnt give NDSU a snowballs chance in hell.
In this past decade I have loved seeing these players play for Pride for the first 5 years being ineligible for playoffs, then the same Bison Pride took this program to the TOP of FCS.
And for me personally I have missed only 4 of those home games in 11 years, two of which were the last two home playoff games this year due to chemo.
For this years Bison FB team to go and win it all, after listening to all the experts last year talk about how Coach Bohl had nothing more to accomplish here at NDSU...just makes it all the better. To all those media folks who said "nothing more can be accomplished"? Eat Bison manure people!!

thanks for the heads up. That is a bit funny, I was BSing with Jeff about ND kids contributing Friday night....Obviously, he nor I had any idea that ET and CW would do what they did to end that game. I am still smiling...If your reading this Jeff. That was a great article...Thanks!

The day of the Dakota Bowl when Travis was a Senior, he was the A player of the year. Ryan Smith was AA and Esley Thorton was AAA. I can't remember who won the 9 man award.
