Planning the road trip....

We will be staying overnight in Wichita on Wednesday eve. Any suggestions on hotel and close eating/drinking spots within walking distance from said hotel.

Friend picked me up in Lawrence last year and we got down the road a bit to Wichita, stayed at Wichita Suites. Clean room and a sports bar/restaurant within walking distance. Really easy on and off the road too.

Worst city ever. I purposely avoid spending money there. They can take their traffic cameras and road construction and shove it up their business ends.
