When did SU start doing two graduation ceremonies a year?

When I graduated from SU, (many years ago), I would have been extremely embarrassed and angry if my mother had pulled a shinnanigan like this.

It's her daughter that graduated. From Minot. Hmmmm, wonder if she's friends with Port, Louser, Fox or one of the other NDSU haters there.

NDSU has a graduation ceremony in the winter after first semester and one in the spring after second semester. The graduation conflict with a possible football game was addressed a few weeks ago and NDSU decided to have graduation on Friday with three different ceremonies. This would allow most if not all people to attend, just like having one ceremony at the Fargo Dome. This information was communicated by NDSU weeks ago so it shouldn't be a surprise or a problem to anyone. By the way, a certain school up north also has a graduation ceremony on this same Friday!!

I guess we know why there is no conflict with a football game there. But if it conflicted with a hocky game you know they'd tell the graduates to get the hell out of the way and go home

I've been to graduation in the Fargodome with everybody. Believe me, I don't care one bit about the engineering and pharmacy schools, I'd rather have a smaller ceremony.
