But if you've never been down on the middle of the field, you might not know how quiet it is down there in regards to the loudspeakers. Virtually all the speakers are pointed to the stands. So to get it loud enough on the field to be useful for warmups, they have to crank the f*** out of the volume. Probably the best solution would be to install speakers at field level pointed inward, but the tight confines of the FD field make that difficult. There's just no great place for them to go.

If the purpose of the pregame music is for the crowd, then the players would be basically warming up in silence down on the field.

    No great solution.

Just put some of those boom boxes (or whatever they are called now) that Gate City Bank is giving away out on the field.
It's OK to not be OK.

This sounds silly…. But the battery and Bluetooth tech on some of these basic CHEAP speakers…

Should open up SOME options for where speakers could be placed, and wirelessly connected.

Not like it’s a problem to solve or anything.

Please ignore this post. Likely crazy.

Maintain current strategy for fear of screwing something up.

This actually has a TON of merit. They look different, but everyone gets to share the audio experience at their personally preferred volume.

Great idea tony. I think those things are smart.

    Europe/Spain leads again.

Let’s not be “too” American and simply say “it’s dumb” before thinking about it.

    Problem solver.

Personally I would love some background music/game noise/ and Phil getting pissed at the team with some bitch announcer in my ears.
