When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

The Bison pushed CC all over the field last year.
Can they do it again this year?
Yep!
I fully expect a win, but it won't be like last year. Teams seem to figure out the puzzle a little more each time they play us, as we saw today. Not sure why we aren't improving more on repeat teams. I'm really looking forward to a good, hard fought game against CC, keep inching towards Frisco

Maybe.
But CC looked like team that could not match us physically last year. It looks like their defense might be a little better this year but it will be an interesting match up.
Looking at some of their highlights, I think the Bison will be able to run on them....a lot.
I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

I think your sentiment has merit, but I don't see it as us not improving as much as I see it more as "the whole damn country is gunning for us" and, quite frankly, they should be. Three straight National Championships, 2 straight Gameday appearances, and winners of 55 out of 58 games. If you are an FCS program and you are NOT trying to "be NDSU" in some foundational, puzzle-solving way (and, of course, ultimately beat NDSU!), you just don't have your priorities straight.
CC really struggled offensively with Richmond today. I think the Bison have a decent chance.
