Maybe, but I think it has more to do with individual schools than conferences. Of course you get a 10 years of conference domination change the playoff committee form its current make up and yeah OK. I Guess I think there are just certain teams that despite their conference will always have a bit of an edge and get the benefit of the doubt. I think NDSU is one of those teams.

SEC teams would rather lose to each other than OOC.

Do you think we would have gone 7-4 against a MEAC schedule?

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. No, but if we had we certainly wouldn't be in the playoffs in 2010. I think your comment is basically making my point - having a strong conference gives us a better chance of getting into the playoffs. 7-4 MVFC >>> 7-4 MEAC.

I'd much rather finish fourth in the Valley than second in the MEAC. However, if all years were like last year, third in the Valley wasn't even good enough to get in. I just hope the Valley lives up to the respect we've been given this year so we keep qualifying at least four teams.

Good point. I'm sure Auburn/Alabama, Ole Miss/MSU, etc believe this.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

The last time NDSU lost an OOC regular season game was in 2009! Think about it!

NDSU is 14-1 in FCS playoff games. To me, that's more impressive since the playoffs are supposed to feature the best teams.

And for the love of all that is good and right, if you have home field advantage, don't let some band of goofballs come in and embarrass you on your own field. You all know who you are. Now go! Earn the respect our conference was given!

Long pass to put us in FG range I believe but it was ruled he was across the line of scrimmage.
