    Default Winston a point shaver?

Allegations that FSU QB Winston shaved points in the Louisville game. Credible? Who knows. Possible? With this guy, you bet.

not too hard to believe. This has to be easier than stealing crab legs from a grocery store.

It's a close contest for supremacy between Winston's arrogance and his stupidity so I wouldn't put this past him.

In the bigger picture, when is enough going to be enough on the illegal gambling front? Legalize and regulate this stuff. It's against the law now almost everywhere but it's so weakly enforced that we're just begging for bad things to happen. This illegal bookmaker in Birmingham had his own web site that he was taking bets on. How much more out in the open could that be? And now this guy wants to beg out of the bet he took? What a crock. The worst operators get to have it both ways under the system we have now, they'll take your illegal wager, then stick you with no recourse when they don't like the outcome and smear your friend on the internet to cover themselves.

We're way more ready for the legalization of sports betting than we are for the legalization of pot.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

Seems like a total reach and for something for them to grab onto. Maybe a PR move for their website? At the same time, it would not shock me either.

Heard about this on XM College Sports Nation as it broke. Apparently the FBI has been asked if there is an investigation and they can "neither confirm or deny." TMZ was the one to break this and they have been spot on with a lot of things especially with sports.

Yeah but it's tough to prove he was actually point shaving.

Paper trial via texting or money transfers? If he is betting on a game he is playing in, he is in BIG trouble......Winston, meet Pete Rose.
