Hard to say. Depends on how the settlement is characterized, could be subject to payroll taxes or not. Don't know where she lives, what her household looks like, what other income there is, etc.
I just said approximately all of it because that's where you start from. To the extent that the settlement is taxable income, attorney fees are generally deductible expenses.
