It would be interesting to see the salary levels compared to "peer" Alumni Associations and what the employees job expectations were. Were the salary's over inflated before Mayo and he took way to harsh of a axe to it. Sherri went from what 135,000 to 85,000 a year. Everybody is replaceable but man you can't be a bull dozer about it. It all just doesn't smell right and hopefully this is the right step forward or out of the quagmire of the last few months. I guess I have to trust the board on this.

My sources had told me he was on his "last chance" so I suspect you are 100% correct.

Buyout = $70,000 and the Ford Exped. XLT = too much.

I think they let him keep the Expedition because it had a Mayo smell they didn't think they could get rid of.

I know it just doesn't work like that anymore. I am uncertain about the stability of the association/foundation at this point and am going to be paying close attention to the decisions made going forward as I assume many others also will be.

I have to agree with you on this. In a normal peon job your gone, but some jobs just don't work that way.
I am sure there was pressure to resign, based on the number of people that left, however it sounds like the
performance of the financials were good so what bases do your fire him on.
