Why in the world did we play South Dakota State as our first playoff game in, what was it, 2012? That was bad for both teams, bad for fans, bad for the conference, bad for the FCS. Maybe this is the same question as PLs, but it's a specific example.

The NCAA can also save money by using ground transportation for teams that travel less than 400 miles instead of chartering flights. At least that's how it used to be.
