Default 2014/2015 Mens BB season opener

Only a few days until the exhibition game against Minot State.

Wed Nov 5 7pm Scheels Arena

New coaching staff, new venue, many new players.

It will be an interesting season.

Yeah, thanks Road! I'd be up at Red River Lanes watching the wife bowl if it wasn't for this heads up.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.

Will be there. Totally plan on rushing the court if we win...

I also have city league but since I have season tickets and it's already paid for I'm still going to try to make the 2nd half. Really want to get a look at all the new faces and see how everyone is playing. Don't expect to see much of LA, Brown or Kading in the 2nd half so bring on the freshman!

I hate how negative this is going to sound, but I would expect the Bison to win this by a minimum of 25. Minot is not a good basketball team. They've played once already this year and although they won by 16, it was against a very unimpressive Dickinson State team. I'm sure Richman will be experimenting, trying different lineups and offensive/defensive schemes, etc., so I understand if it ends up looking like a closer game than it would in a mid-season matchup, but the Beavers are, most likely, not going to be very good this year. I would consider anything closer than a 15-point win to be a disappointment for NDSU, regardless of how much experimenting Richman does.

Again, I feel bad for sounding so negative toward Minot, but I just don't see how the Beavers will be able to compete with the Bison beyond the first 10 minutes of the 1st half.
