As far as only having it in the suites and a beer garden, I think that's a good start. If a season or two goes by and there are no problems, then they will have to look at expanding it into the rest of the stands, except the student secition obviously. People can still go to bars and elsewhere beforehand. People are making a mountain out of a molehill with this, as if this hasnt been tried before.

Not outside the dome, but across the street BWW is packed, I'd say a good amount pre drink before a concert.

I have witnessed the same amount of drunk idiots before concerts, most people will either sit home and get a buzz going or go to a bar to get rolling to save money....if eople think it doesn't happen they are clueless or live in a bomb shelter

If you want to take a glimpse into the past, here is the thread from 2004 in which the end of Tailgate Prohibition was lifted. It really doesn't do justice to the near-hysteria of the anti-Tailgating folks. For some reason, they weren't on Bisonville.
