Apparently concert promoters want them so it's to help get concerts. But I don't think we need them. They don't stop anyone and they don't keep us safe. The odds of someone getting frostbite waiting in an absurd -30 line and suing the dome is greater than someone who intends to do harm get stopped by a metal detector.

Looks like NDSU is using the SHAC for an actual event. The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to the SHAC in March. I wonder if NDSU is just renting the facility out or if they have a role in promoting it because the tickets are being sold on the Go Bison website? Last time they played at the Scheels teh hockies Arena but it looks like they have a game the same night

Surely we can get a consultation from the magic kingdom and figure out a way to virtual queue this mess so we just hang at the tailgate or bw3 or wherever until we get a text.

Hell no we dont need them. But you better have them for liability sake. Most rules are for that very thing.

Doubtful. A good majority of those people have been outside for 5+ hours before the game. Don't think that would hold up...

You failed to connect the dots that both things have a 0% chance of happening.

Or maybe you are one of the bright people who stand in the wind for 5 hours. I'm shocked the fans haven't figured out how to use a pop up tent with a propane heater. Maybe they will start bringing them next year? Maybe they might even start paining up busses and old vehicles to stay warm

Fwiw, people tailgating in -30 for 5 hours before the game are in heated tents and plain street clothes, not parkas and snow pants. Standing in line for 30 minutes in -30 is a bit different.

Another failure by the Fargodome. Chris Stapleton is coming to Grand Forks. No other events appear to be booked on Oct 6th. Why would we want to bring the biggest name in country, probably over the last decade to Fargo? Way to be competitive.

I don't see anything on the Fargodome events page after May so the Bison must be playing at Fargo North this year. https://fargodome.com/event-calendar
It's OK to not be OK.
