That play was never called for him to throw that route unless LSU absolutely fell asleep, it wasnt happening. It was simple roll out for a few more yards or a throw away. Got greedy and bit the bullet.

i just saw that this morning. According to the coach they weren't even thinking about the end zone all they wanted were some more yards and to get off the right hash. What an idiot. If all you ever wanted out of that was to try for three you can't take a delay of game penalty, there shouldn't have been anything to think about. But worse than that, how are you only playing for a tie with the ball on the 25, 9 seconds on the clock, and a free down? Throw it in the end zone. Try to win the game.

I don't mind them taking a chance at the TD but they needed a better play and the Qb has to know if it isn't there, you throw it away. Just really bad all the way around by them.

The worse part about that if he completes something, even if its short, they have to have 3 seconds left to spike the ball without a timeout or a stopped clock.
