    This reminds me of all the booths in the union giving away free t shirts if kids signed up for credit card.

    Im happy to say i never did.

    Funny part is that is actually my bank. I would love to have a NDSU check card. They don't even have a KU card.

    Have to believe there is done kind of cut for the foundation to justify how bad it is? if so, they need to publicize that. If not, poor decision.

    I admit, the redemption was my best guess as they are not very transparent on that...... Which should scare everyone away.

    I'm sure that they're getting something but, again, that seems really short sighted to me. The development foundation shouldn't care much about a few extra buck this year or the next. They should be making decisions based on a 20 year plus time horizon and marketing bad credit products to future donors is not a good way to build loyalty.

    Just because the rewards are not great, doesn't make it a bad product (please note - I have not reviewed the T&C however, this thread seems solely about rewards value). More people have a non-rewards credit card than a rewards card. And a very high percentage of customers who have rewards cards, do not redeem their rewards.
