They certainly seemed to match up pretty well with Montana even though they didn't have their QB Kevin Earl... who is supposed to be pretty good.

It's not going to be pretty. The games I watched this year USD defense was in the correct position quite a bit of the time but they were always waiting for contact to come to them. It was like they were afraid they would miss the tackle and are not trusting their teammates to finish people off if they just get there and slow a guy down. We on the other hand have everyone flying to the ball and going for contact and letting the cavalry come and finish them off. Big Big day on the ground this week unless they stack everyone in the box then Carson's numbers are going to look ridiculous.
