Wow. Towson losing 55 to 7 to JMU.

I had the same thought. Man are they terrible this year. Between them losing to Stony Brook and SHSU getting the hell beat out of them by a DII team, I think we've permanently broken our national championship game opponents.
JMU looked good. Or maybe Towson just looks that bad...
Ho! A cheer for Green and Yellow!
JMU really isn't that great this season. Towson is just horrible. I watched the game for 10 minutes at the end of the 1st half. It was still a "respectable" game. Then JMU ran a fumble back for 6, immediately followed by a pick 6. I LOL'd.
And people wanted Rob Ambrose to be a contender for NDSU's vacant head coaching job last year. Not that it seemed like a bad idea at the time, but this is horrific. Lol.
It does give you a perspective on how hard it is to win a championship. That was Towson's best team ever... They just happened to have the bad luck of running into one of the top teams in FCS history in the championship.
A few years ago, I was lurking on the USD message board and saw a similar conversation around "the best USD team in history". It was the team that made it to the national championship game in 1986, which bumped into probably one of the best DII teams in history. If they could have had their window slide a year (later likely), they would possibly have a national championship, but instead, they wandered into a buzz saw.
The weather in Fargo keeps the undesirables out.....
...Which is why I live near the Twin Cities.
Maybe Ambrose lost his earring
