Default The Official 2014 Homecoming Thread

    Who's getting excited for homecoming?

    I love homecoming.
See old friends...Make new ones. Even Bisonvillers.

Below is the schedule from the Alumni Association. DO we need to add anything? TurfFriday? (Im looking at you Tatanka)

I know last year there was an impromptu bisonville meeting at the turf Friday night after the parade got cancelled.

Who's going? What are your plans and events that you are attending.

This thread is for all things homecoming. Let's have a great week.

Edit...couldn't get the text from the email or the alumni page to print properly...so here is the link.

My wife & children have a "fall break" in Germany for almost 3 weeks. I offered to fly all 4 of them back to the US so we could all go up for Homecoming. My youngest has asked, on more than one occasion, if we could go to a stadium and watch a game. I thought we would: a) fulfill his wish; b) load up on our bison gear; c) experience tailgate & d) generally have a good time. My wife wasn't too crazy about the idea in the first place.

They are flying off this evening to the Balearic Island of Mallorca.

I went out and bought a new car to spite her!

If I win the lottery, I'll be there!

Our family is going to the parade and might stay for the party a bit as well.
Then probably let the kids swim at the Holiday Inn and a couple of drinks for the adults.

Anyone else coach WF Flag Football? We're really making up the games cancelled for Gameday at noon on Saturday? My team might go without a coach if true.

Haha, actually, I think he is. He wasn't happy to cancel for Gameday, but, having 9 out of 12 refs say they wouldn't show up forced his hand...
