    snap chats are held on the servers for 30 days and then deleted. Note: ask for subpoena immediately and not go outside that 30 day window.

    Do you think the account would be totally inaccessible now? I am not familiar with Snapchat and what it does.

    I am no IT person. In fact, not even an ounce of IT. I just posted what I heard. Seems like when people delete things the FBI can go in and retrieve things or I watch to many movies that do this.

    Depends on how they do data sanitation. If it's been rewritten, it's gone...if it's "deleted" but not written over, then it's still there. Chances are they refresh those drives pretty quick so things are overwritten.
