Frost is gone
It could be argued that CUSA is ripe for a takeover but our region lacks football programs with FBS ambition sadly.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
Wait no posts about FBS Bearkats throwing up a 3 spot against Northern Arizona?
No Carolina beat writer marvels at NDSU this weekend
says NDSU is a P5 program and is really impressed

NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
Create a better CUSA add NDSU, SDSU, Missouri State, UMASS, UCONN, Delaware
Pods for football and lots of football only members, MVFC idea at the FBS level.
NDSU, SDSU, Missouri State
UMASS, UCONN, Delaware
NMSU, SHSU, UTEP
Liberty, WKU, MTSU
LA Tech, Jax St, FIU
Regionalize the pods enough to have some meaning rivalry games but get the conference big enough to have a shot at a playoff birth. Likely undefeated season but a shot.
Its maybe a slight improvement outside the Bison.
UMass and UConn are on ESPN's bottom 10 list and have horrible support.
They supposedly asked to be FBS only members, and CUSA said no.
Don"t understand why people want to add them to an already bottom end conference.
Delaware shows some promise, Missouri St might, though not sure they are there yet.
If you could add 6 strong members, maybe it sort of works depending on pods and scheduling.
I'd rather take 2 to 4 members and approach the MAC.
Pick 2-4 of NDSU, SDSU, WKU, MTSU, Delaware and go MAC and I think you have something.
Big 12 looking to expand west, likely targets would be PAC and/or MWC
If we are patient, I think MWC opportunities will be there.
