I was today years old when I found out that Gary Barta is the Selection Committee chair this year. I had no idea, has he been in this role long? Last I heard it was Condeleeza Rice???
Yes Chapo, this means NDSU would’ve been in the CFP if we were FBS and playing this fall

I'm pretty interested in seeing what the committee does with Ohio State, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame if they lose to Clemson close. If they beat Clemson in Round 2, I wonder if that leapfrogs Alabama?
I think Ohio State should be out basically no matter what. They will finish the year playing like 6 or 7 games, and that doesn't seem fair or equitable to the rest of the teams who have played full seasons, it doesn't help Ohio State that they have zero big wins and will finish the year without any as well.
I think we got a few scenarios that could be fun and if the committee won't let Ohio State in, Cincinnati might have a legit shot at getting in.

It’d be a giant middle finger to the big 10, and I’d laugh
NO Big 10 or Pac 10 in CFP would be epic.
Coastal Carolina got into all the ESPN sportscenter highlight packages for about 5 weeks now as a Ranked team....... do something NDSU>
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

I'm gonna count the SEC, ACC, and Big 12 seasons as legit. Everybody else gets judged a bit/written off.
Hard to take the B1G and PAC seriously with their issues and the G5 conferences didn't play their typical bodybag games against the P5 so their records feel inflated.
