The face that NDSU has gotten votes all year, and even got tons of votes last year that almost got them in the top 25 is just crazy!
i think only one guy is voting for us thus far

Is it the same guy that votes for the FCS champion each year?

Also, last year there must have been a few people voting for us at the end of the year since we had 29(?) votes.

Plus, 8 of the top 26 and 9 in the top 40. Only WIU not represented here, and they're not too bad either, me thinks. But the beating up of each other in the MVFC starts in earnest this week, so ...........................................

Me thinks that the MVFC will be a real gauntlet this year. I would love to be proven wrong and have the Bison sail through, but we shall see.

Craig Haley has 5 MVFC teams in the playoffs and one more on the bubble. Not really a fan of that road to the championship though.

    PLAYOFF FIELD
Looking at where teams may stand in a projected playoff bracket on Nov. 23, and not based on current records or conference standings:

Sacred Heart/Montana State winner at No. 1 seed North Dakota State

Tennessee State/South Dakota State winner at No. 8 seed Northern Iowa

Southern Illinois/McNeese State winner at No. 5 Jacksonville State

Richmond/Chattanooga winner at No. 4 seed New Hampshire

Jacksonville/North Carolina A&T winner at No. 6 seed Coastal Carolina

Fordham/Delaware winner at No. 3 seed Villanova

Bethune-Cookman/Montana winner at No. 7 seed Southeastern Louisiana

Eastern Kentucky/Illinois State winner at No. 2 seed Eastern Washington

On the at-large bubble: Central Arkansas, Liberty, Northern Arizona, Youngstown State and William & Mary

Yeah It seems like even last year the forecast looked like a tougher road for NDSU too. If they put 3 MVFC teams in that slot to try and make it a MVFC game vs NDSU round two would be ridiculous and almost make me think that the committee would be purposely trying to keep NDSU from making it to the championship game in Frisco. The reward for being top overall seed could penalize them this season? I know it's early but his projections are usually pretty good and close to what the field looks like. But the way NDSU has helped put focus on the FCS it would be hard to see them putting UNI in that position to make that a possible matchup that early in the playoffs.

Two teams on would love to see play the Bizon in the playoffs are Howard Bison and the Bucknell Bison. Howard is out at 1-4, but Bucknell is 4-0.
