Default EE building takes it on the chin

Don't know if it's been posted elsewhere yet, but someone drove into the EE building today. Sounds like car totaled and structural damage to the building. I'll post a link and pictures when I find them.

Damage doesn't look terribly bad from the photo, but it's hard to tell how much the structure has been pushed in from the image.

No doubt was parked. Put it into drive instead of reverse. Hit the gas. Freaked out when the vehicle started going in the wrong direction. Pushed down in reaction thinking brake but foot was still on accelerator. Too short a distance to fix mistake before crunch.

Didn't Chrysler have a pretty hefty settlement on Grand Cherokees due to the accelerator and brake pedal being too close together or something like that?

Hammersmith drives a Prius, which, if given a two mile runway, might still fail to cause that much damage to the brick wall.
