The 2014 edition of Bison Defense, has in my opinion 5 solid candidates for the Bison Hall of Fame (Littlejohn, Beck, Heagle, Dudzik, and Emanuel.) The linebacker duo of Littlejohn and Beck is the most athletic and versatile that NDSU has ever had. Celebrate and enjoy this Defense, it may be awhile before we see this much pure talent on the field all at one time.

Those five are shoe-ins for the HoF. Cripes, you'd be able to make a good case for the national HoF except that the Bison defense is so good across the board that it's hard to stand out.

Note: Illinois State is allowing fewer points per game (7.5) but if you round up it's a tie... for now. Illinois State is playing Austin Peay this week and that team has scored 13 points all season. Illinois State's non-conference schedule is diluted weak sauce.

I agree that Beck and Littlejohn are a terrific tandem at LB, but I think that Joe Mays and Ramon Humber, two LBs that have made it years in the League, may beg to differ.
