He should have signed with a CFL team and then just mailed it in like the UND Ombudsman until he did/didn't make an NFL roster.

This fall experiment league will get some attention. Probably hoping to catch an eye here, then refocus on a practice squad in nfl next year

CFL also plays from June to November so he has missed training camps and 2/3 of the season.
