USD tickets for Oct. 25, an update

Welcome to Bisonville! I also live in Sioux Falls. Still waiting for the Alumni Association to let us know. The USD tailgate rules are confusing to say the least. I am sure most of us will be there when they let us in!

Thanks for the reply. I didn't realize that USD wouldn't have lots open way early before a game. I guess it's a mistake to assume that since the tailgate lots at the Fargodome open at what, 6am that there would be tailgating early at the Dakota Dome. But based on how they are handling the ticket situation it appears that incompetence doesn't stop at the football team.

They have chance to put the game on ESPN3 or even Gameplan if they want. But they are not going to do it. Why? Force Bison fans to buy their video feed for the game.

If someone really wanted to stick it to them they would research how to live stream it on one of the bootleg sites like ATDHE or Firstrowsports

Sounds like if it works out for them UNI and MSU might follow

The USD AD, David Herbster, spent some time at NDSU in the mid 90s.

Prior to that, he was the assistant director of athletics for marketing and development at Pittsburg State (Kan.), assistant director for marketing and promotions at North Dakota State and promotions coordinator at Virginia Tech.

Translation: Our football team is so shitty and school support is so bad, that our stupid ploy did not even work, so we have to sell to NDSU fans.

I would not be this frustrated if they would just give a firm answer. Heck, they would use it as a deadline for their own fans telling them, you'd better buy now, as NDSU will buy all the seats.

Thought process being, if we only give them a week to buy tickets they won't come. Except for the fact that its a day trip and other than the stupid ticket most of us won't spend a penny in their town.
