We should really apply for membership in the OVC or Big South. The MVFC is killing us.

Bunnies have to lose to UNI. Wierd how the Bunnies get NDSU, UNI and Illinois State games at home this year. Gives them the best shot to beat the tougher teams in the conference. I am not yet convinced Youngstown is that good this year. But then who would have expected the Bison loss to the friggen Yotes.

Well, UNI has put itself in playoff football mode in October, like usual, so they will be tough from here until the playoff committee meeting. I don't think SDSU gets through the rest of their schedule without a loss. WIU will end up with a couple of losses. If UNI runs the table, they will give the other one loss teams a second loss. NDSU has the weakest schedule on paper. If they go out and take care of business one game at a time, they will be in a pretty good position at the end of the regular season. If ISUr is to lose a game, it has to be against one of the bottom teams. The other teams ranked ahead in the GPI have no direction to go but down. Either SDSU or ISUr could move up, but one of them will end up dropping. One of the other three teams will end up with a loss moving NDSU to at least 4 if they take care of business. After the crappy games against Montana and USD, the Bison are still in good shape and will get better as a team. Plenty of opportunities to climb right back into the top of FCS before the playoffs.

Wow, the MVFC has 9 teams in top 28 of latest GPI. That is almost the entire conference in the top 25%.

Interesting thing for this is can this help NDSU get at least a top 4 seed if we keep winning. Let's face it, the FCS playoffs do not make money, and I am sure the NCAA likes games in Fargo. This will help make the argument when NDSU needs to be a top 4 seed.
