Week 4: In the prior 50 seasons, NDSU has had3020 seasons with 10 or more wins.
In the 11 FBS games that NDSU has played in since 2006, they have only committed 13 turnovers compared to 18 for their opponents (+5).
With the W over WIU, NDSU tied SIU for the longest conference game winning streak at 14 and now have the chance to best the record on Saturday vs those SIU Salukis.

Rule #76: No excuses, play like a champion!
With our conference in some ways this might be more impressive than the 29 game winning streak. Depending on the team, we might be able to get a team with a 4-4 conference record into the playoffs this year. Although if yesterday was a sign of things to come, this is gonna be another season where everyone just beats up on each other and, outside of one team, nobody stands out in conference play.
Fact - NDSU has become a punting powerhouse!
Anyone have some numbers or stats that are interesting with punting?
Hopefully NDSU scores so often that they don't reach the minimum number of punts needed.
This week's factoid: Currently, NDSU is #38 in all-time wins among all DI programs with 661. What makes it even more impressive is that every DI team with more wins has played between 62 and 286 more games. At the start of the 2011 season, NDSU was at #50.
5 of the Top 6 in career average yards per punt in the program's history have played in since 2000.
Average yards/punt (minimum 10 attempts) 1. 44.46 - M. Dragosavich (158-7025) - 2004-07 2. 43.15 - Ben LeCompte (124-5351) - 2012-14 3. 41.72 - Aaron Pederson (176-7342) - 1998-01 4. 41.21 - M. We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
