Week 1: Over the last 38 games, NDSU has given up 47 points in the fourth quarter.* That includes 11 playoff games.
Week 2: Since 2007, NDSU has 5 of current FCS team's 17 wins over P5 teams. NDSU went 5-1 v the P5 in that time. The rest of the teams now in FCS went 12-369.
Week 3: Only one MAC team has beaten more BCS teams than NDSU since 2007; Northern Illinois has gone 6-11. The MAC as a whole has gone 28-170 (the MVFC has gone 9-54.) <-- stopped updating this after week 3
Week 4: In the prior 50 seasons, NDSU has had 20 seasons with 10 or more wins.
Week 5: Currently, NDSU is #38 in all-time wins among all DI programs with 661. What makes it even more impressive is that every DI team with more wins has played between 62 and 286 more games. At the start of the 2011 season, NDSU was at #50.
Week 7: Over the last 25 years, NDSU has averaged 37 points per game against USD.
Week 8: MVFC teams have won playoff games by more than 21 points 21 times. NDSU has 10 of those wins, but SDSU posted the largest margin of victory ever (48 over Eastern Illinois.) However, one of NDSU's ten 3-TD wins in the playoffs came against SDSU in 2012 (28-3.)

Oops, sorry, I was including 2007 in both calculations so I changed the year in the first post.

Er, it's hard to keep track of which teams are P5 or not as well so the 14-424 might be off. I probably should double-check that at some point (but I'm trying to catch up on work today.)

Here's a surprising fact: Only one team in the MVFC has a losing record going into Week 5.

During the 28 game win streak NDSU has given up 96 points in the second half (3.428 points per second half) and only 26 in the 4th quarter (1.076 points per 4th quarter). And of course zero points in second half this season.
