Holy cow, was Valpo your 500th game? Edit: Never mind, it's 490 like your tweet said. I was counting some non-final games.

On the other hand, you've only seen 94 of NDSU's 374 losses.

This is really unbelievable when you think of how long ago NDSU football (or AC football) started. Well done sir.

edit...read the thread again and decided it was a dumb post

My favorite stats in the world are 'since 1964 NDSU football' stats.

Number of times NDSU was shut out before 1964 (67 seasons, 480 games): 115
Number of times NDSU was shut out since 1964 (58 seasons, 678 games): 8
Wow. I understand football rules resulted in far less scoring before desegregation, but even still. Only 8 shutouts in over a half century?

    Just wow.

So NDSU is nearing the top 20 in this list now (wiki hasn't been updated yet - NDSU's win total is from the end of the 2019 season, for example.)

Back in 2010 when NDSU was #56 with 611 wins, UNI was #57 with 610, and UND was #60 with 606.
Today: NDSU has 762 wins (+151) , UNI has 689 (+78) and UND comes in with 668 (+62)

From 2010: List of winningest college football teams | American Football Database | Fandom

I might try to get Wikipedia updated this winter.

I've never edited a wiki so I gave it a shot and changed ours(not really interested in editing the whole thing). Unless I'm mistaken a lot of that information is incorrect given the references listed and the below shows us having 748 victories, not 762. I wonder if the 14 wins from the 2021 season aren't included. Hmmmm Here's the updated sources if anyone's interested in editing the whole wiki:

I clicked on the FCS file out of curiosity. The first thing that jumped out at me was the first page has rushing record. Arnold Mickens from Butler holds many of those records (8 straight 200+ yard games in 1994!!). Sadly he passed away last night due to COVID.
