    All-Time Wins:

At the end of the 2010 season, NDSU was at #56 and UNI was at #57 (one W behind NDSU).
When this thread started in 2014, NDSU was up to #43
NDSU recently passed Washington and Florida to get into the top 25.

Some big names / perennial winners ahead so it's going to be hard to move up into the top 20. And the ones that don't win 10+ games every year (i.e. Ivies) had such big leads that catching them takes decades. Then again, after the 2000 season, NDSU was 83 W's behind Dartmouth and NDSU passed them 6 years ago.
    Yale: 865 W's in 2010 to 917 (+52)
    Harvard: 812 to 879 now (+67)
    Penn: 808 to 856 (+48)
    Princeton 781 to 836 (+54)

    NDSU: 613 to 750 (+147)

When it comes to teams in the top 100 in total wins, NDSU is already in the top 20 (so we have that going for us.)

Considering the tradition of success for NDSU football it's pretty mind blowing to me at least that nearly 20% of the the wins in program history (147 out of 750) have come since the start of the 2011 season.

Considering how woeful NDSU football was for decades before 1964, it's amazing. One thing I found out this week that really doesn't fit anywhere

Number of times NDSU was shut out before 1964 (67 seasons, 480 games): 115
Number of times NDSU was shut out since 1964 (58 seasons, 678 games): 8

Imagine how much quicker we could rise in the rankings if we dropped down to D3??? We wouldnt have lost any games at all in the last decade and we would have won the other 2 nattys too!

sounds like FCS was a mistake. should have moved down, honestly
    1. The FCS was the Best option for NDSU for a very long time.
    2. As a general rule- the FCS sucks at football and has proven that is not committed to football at all.
    3. It's time to go FBS
