Default NDSU on the List of Winningest College Football Programs

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._teams_by_wins

The list hasn't been updated for yesterday's results, but currently NDSU is tied with Army at 658 wins at #43. Wisconsin has five less wins than NDSU. Michigan State is one W ahead. Minnesota is +4, North Carolina +5.

A lot of the teams above NDSU have played 100 to 200+ more games and NDSU is #22 if you sort the list 600+ win teams by winning percentage.

No idea if this is interesting to anybody, but being in the top 50 among all the 1000 or so NCAA football programs is pretty impressive. Not to mention that in 2010, NDSU was ranked something like 53rd so NDSU has made a considerable jump.

NDSU is up to #37 on the list of winningest NCAA football programs. Up to #21 by winning percentage (teams with more than 600 wins.)

NDSU could pass Navy, Delaware, and Dartmouth next year in total wins even though those teams have played from 83 to 200 more games than NDSU.

Of teams with as many or more wins than NDSU, only the Gorillas of Pittsburg State have played fewer games (8 fewer games played with 10 more wins). The next closest school in terms of games played is DIII Wittenburg and they've played 50 more games than the Bison. Auspicious company for sure. Thanks for posting this.

It's in wiki - it won't be in the Bisonville fan guide until I get complete W-L information for D2 and D3 teams.

In winning percentage, the only FCS schools above us are Ivies. And every FBS is a historical powerhouse.

    FCS:
    Yale, Harvard, Princeton

    FBS:
ND, Mich, Ohio St, OK, Bama, TX, USC, NE, Tenn, Penn St, LSU, UGA

We might be able to pass Princeton eventually*, but Harvard and Yale will be near-impossible with how easy it is for them to go 10-0 or 9-1 every year.

*we'd have to go 66-0 to match where Princeton is right now
