Check out #4. The writer begs an interesting question, especially for such B1G stalwarts.

I particularly like the shot taken at the Whioux in the last thumbs up paragraph and then the tweet.

And yet another guy who says FBS teams should stop scheduling NDSU. Pretty funny reading actually.

Bison come in at #10 in this "poll".

You are so delusional that you are kinda cute. We Bison fans have seen an explosion in national media articles and respect and popularity amongst college football fans. Lots of people nationally now know us and like us and they arent forgetting about us. Bison national noteriety grows every year. When the Hawkeyes beat ISU nobody gives a rip because they should. When NDSU does it, national media follows it because it shouldn't happen yet does...regularly. Eat your poor little heart out

When your an FCS school you don't get press like we've gotten. Coming from a solid Big 10 school like Iowa it's tough to understand. Really we've had to shake a lot of perception issues being located in Fargo. Certainly ESPN Gameday did wonders but we're definitely not a household name outside of the midwest. So far us this is a big deal

Once everyone in the country moves on, you're still hung up on it. I see fan bases do this shit all the time.

So don't give me this delusional shit. I like NDSU, but I'm probably the most impartial person here. The rest of you can't see the herd for the bison.

However, Iowa fans are also pretty sensitive when it comes to press too. We're one of the smallest fish in the B1G pond, and there is always a butthurt fan complaining about BTN giving all the attention to OSU and Michigan.
The reality is if we want to move up to the FBS we always hear we would bring no value since we're a small market and not a household name. A sad reality is we rarely beat teams like Iowa State, Kansas, or even Minnesota for recruits because kids perceive them as being so much better. That's OK because I've said all along that ndsu takes zero star players and develops then into 3 star athletes.

So any discussion like this we are very very happy about. People are taking us seriously and may even know who we are

Our win at the big dance probably had more impact on the school than beating Iowa State but we're a football school
