FBS teams get significantly more and nearly double most of the time. I always wonder the point the media is trying to make when they talk about how much money the FCS teams get, but they never seem to mention how much the lower FBS teams get.

I can't imagine NDSU being a target of many FBS programs while scheduling. Unless the only goal is to sell out and it is within driving distance of the Bison faithful while having issues with your own fanbase. There is nothing to be gained other than sold seats for one game. It might actually hurt a school for a couple of years when it comes to selling the package to their own boosters. The schools that would would be comfortable hosting the Bison and would love the challenge already have relationships with schools willing to take their ass beating. Plus, those schools don't fit the parameters of the old Bison regime and I can't foresee that changing much. KSU is the closest to a top 15 program we have gotten on the schedule and I think there was some looking ahead when that happened. There are a handful of FCS programs gaining the reputation of being dangerous to an entire season. Unless we get into a regional rotation, it is going to keep getting harder and harder to schedule FBS schools. Division 4 needs to happen.
