Default Billy Turner Battling Turf Toe

Once he overcomes the injury, apparently there's a pretty strong expectation that Billy will be a starter later in the season.

What a great interview, it says something that he is so well spoken.

As expected, rookie third-round pick Billy Turner will be active for the first time in his NFL career.

Turner’s first game will come against the team for which his father, Maurice, played in 1984-85. Maurice Turner was a running back who played special teams for the Vikings.

The sad thing is that I started watching today with no volume and never realized that he was playing. Anyone know how he performed? I'm assuming it was decent because the Vikes only had one sack, and Miami seemed to have a decent ground game.

I don't think he played much, maybe just special teams. He didn't start.
