The Fargo City Commission passed an ordinance in 2002 requiring mandatory server training.

So its basically a worthless ordinance.
Which in reality the whole notion of server training is nothing more than a bureaucratic googaw that cost businesses time and money. But the politicos think they have actually passed something thats important and it pacifies the people who would be against what ever alcohol thing was in the news at the time.

So the training wasn't related to the proper way to pour beer?*

Larson should send out an email saying that NDSU will fund fcoa through beer sales. I am cheap and generally refuse to purchase beer at sporting events. However if that money went directly to fcoa and the student athletes, I would gladly pay $20 a beer at all NdSu sorting events going forward.

Since the dome already has beer sales for non-NDSU events, I'd assume the contracted vendors would already have said licenses in place?

It's likely that the Dome Authority is the vendor that possesses the license AND is indemnified by the proper insurance coverage.

NDSU would either need to start from scratch or work out a deal for a cut of the sales if they allowed the Dome to sell beer at games.

Projecting to numbers would be the next step. I'm guessing that has already been done. Probably more than once.
