I think the biggest thing people might have a problem with is this quote from the article.
"Kringler and Weber also propose that a portion of the sales revenue from drinks to go toward student scholarships."

Anyone who waould be morally against this need to be reminded that there are bars in Fargo that have charitable gambling sponsored by Teammakers. Should be interresting to see what happens with this.
Morality is a subjective bullshit word.

Meh........I don't care what they do. I drink my alcohol, talk my smack, fondle my women and fill my gut - in the parking lot, like "everybody" else.

When I'm in the Dome, I aint got time to do anything but watch me some good'ole kick-ass championship-level football!! (and use the john 5 times, of course)

Do what several other campuses do these days, allow all day tailgating. It works in plenty of places.

I dont think serving alcohol will curb binge drinking in the parking lot. I personally think its a bad idea. We can't control the drunks now in the game, what will serving alcohol inside help? I sit in Section 8 and saw, just last season alone, 5 different occasions where people puke and it clears out a few rows of people. Plus how many people fall on the steps is astonishing. Most of us probably do just fine with our alcohol consumption, but it only takes the one bad moment to wreck being at a Bison game.

Exactly. Nobody is going to drink less in the parking with their beer they bought for $20 (or less if your are real classy and drink Busch Light or Natural Light) just so they can go into the dome an pay $7 for a beer. It would be more of a convinience I think. But I gaurantee that the first time that someone pukes, get kicked out, or gets hurt; people will be blaming the dome for not selling responsibly.

I would say that the people who are slamming those last couple of beers are the same people that wouldn't pay $7 for a beer so the binge drinking is still gonna happen. I would support beer sales in the dome though for a number of reasons: 1. It would generate $ for NDSU 2. People sneak booze in anyway 3. I would like to have the option
