Haters are going to hate and Doubter going to doubt. Carson will do the best he can and that will lead his team and him to greater things.

Get a bit tired of folks acting like NDSU's level of football is like high school; yes, clearly not as high as P5 as a whole, but they would likely win most, if not all G5 conferences. Would they treat a Memphis QB this way? (It is possible the answer is yes, but I am skeptical....)

I don't think the question is if NDSU is any good. I think the question is whether the competition NDSU plays is any good.

I don't think the question is if NDSU is any good. I think the question is whether the competition NDSU plays is any good.

My comments were intended to mean NDSU's competition, making the point that G5 competition is not very much higher.

I think the thing people forget is the jump from FCS to NFL is not that far off as FBS to NFL. Yes, there is a jump of level of play from FCS to FBS. But they both have "almost" a similar jump to the pro's. IMO

*FWIW, Josh has posted his small school prospects list on AGS the last few years and he is usually very close. He also does actual scouting for the NFLPA Bowl. I'd put a lot more stock into what he is saying then a lot of these media scouts.

FCS as a whole had 6 members in the Sagarin top 100.
G5 had 8 in the top 50. 32 in the top 100.

I'm not sure how a lot of it works. Maybe the 50-150 range is pretty similar in quality, I dont know.
