I agree that Carson is the one of the top QBs in this years NFL draft but I have seen some chatter on other message boards where the fans are saying Vernon Adams played at a higher level compared to Carson and the only drawback is that Vernon is 4 " shorter than Carson.

Even with that if Manning retires that frees up 15 mil of cap room. Might have to give a chunk of that, close to all of it, to Von if he gets franchised. With Oz they could count a chunk of the first year money as a signing bonus and pro rate that out through deferred years. Should be able to get both done, but not much room to sign many free agents and get all your picks signed.

No, I'm referring to Manning's bonuses causing Denver to be over the cap this year. I believe the over gets deducted from the next year's cap. If the cap isn't a huge increase, Elway has some serious work in front of him to keep the defense solidified.

No. He loves black read option QBs and they are all better NFL material compared to CW. He said CW was the 4th best QB at the Senior Bowl when pretty much everyone else said CW was clearly head and shoulders above every other QB there.

I feel like we should start an Em Diggy thread to continue this discussion. Now, I'm just as confused as everybody else at how Em thinks his takes have credibility (Cardale Jones the 2nd QB off the board ?!?!??), but this thread should be all about Carson. I realize thread drift is a normal thing here, but this thread is nearing a million views and people throughout the country are coming here to read about Carson. If Em says some more stupid things about Carson, they should go here, but we don't need ten pages only about Em and his backwards thinking.

Vernon Adams is not a better QB than Carson Wentz. If Carson Wentz had played in the EWU/Oregon offenses, he would have also put up video game stats. Vernon Adams simply can not make the same type of throws Carson Wentz can.

Oh, and Carson Wentz is also a champion.

Wentz is a much better pocket passer than Adams. Only QB in the draft you could argue has a better pocket presence is Goff. That being said, Wentz still needs to improve in this area.
