So Miller has the QBs as...
2. Cleveland: Carson Wentz NDSU
7. San Fran: Jared Goff Cal
13. Philly: Paxton Lynch Memphis
43. LA: Connor Cook Michigan State
52. Houston: Christian Hackenberg PSU
67. Dallas: Brandon Allen Arkansas
109. New Orleans: Dak Prescott Miss State
117. Washington: Kevin Hogan Stanford
132. Denver: Brandon Doughty WKU
144. Buffalo: Jeff Driskel La Tech
157. Denver: Jacoby Brissett NC State
179. San Diego: Cardale Jones Ohio State
209. Houston: Nate Sudfeld Indiana
211. Denver: Cody Kessler USC
Not sure why he has Denver taking 3 QBs but it is interesting to look at. Easy to look at this and see why Wentz will go in round 1, so many QB starved teams.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
The only way CW does not go round 1 is to show up at the combine drunk , dragging a dead hooker with a swastika tattoo on his forehead wearing a "Free Johnny Manziel" t-shirt.
After last night I predict a run on the talented defensive players in this draft. Lots of talent in the first round. Its a copy cat league and Denver proved you can win a super bowl with subpar QB play if you can pressure the other teams QB.
Also, looking at the list- I don't see SF or Philly drafting a QB.
Denver may also want to spend 2 of those 3 picks on OL but maybe Elway and Kubiak have something special in store for us Bronco fans next season.
If Wentz gets past Cleveland, Dallas and San Francisco, I expect Elway will make big move to get a chance at Carson before either Philadelphia or Houston. All depends on the type of deal he can make without risking the team's future and whether they can resign Osweiler at a decent price (team is going to be busy trying to keep the defense in tact this offseason).
Hail the BISON!!!
