I do not understand why some seem to think that TP is the ultimate decision maker---I know that he is calling the plays, but it seems to fit with what the head coach wants. Both losses were a combination of factors--like 434 yards passing by Montana.
The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Agree to disagree here. A young defense missing CJ against Montana hurt us more than a couple calls in a game we scored 35 points.

Did you question his playcalling last year? Just curious.

Apparently one year and NIU had a much more profound affect on his mindset as an OC, because he surely didn't learn the read option during his time at NDSU.

All I'm saying is that for some reason, he thinks his way is better and is an improvement over what we were doing. I strongly disagree with him. You apparently think we have only lost 3 games the past 2 years only because of Polasek and the changes he's made since he got here. I'm nearly certain he thinks that as well. I feel that having the best defense in the country played a much, much larger role. I do think that Polasek's play calling was directly responsible for the 2 losses this year.
I think it's safe to say that you did not realize Polasek was here prior to his time at NIU. I question plays...we all question plays. But if you think for a second he's being selfish and putting his own career ahead of this team you are flat out wrong. Coach Kleiman would not allow that to happen. If Klieman believes in him, I believe in him. And he's also been a great recruiter for ndsu.

Polasek is good for this program.

At times, but not nearly as much. He had Crockett as the work horse and CW was in his first year starting. Felt like we still used the TE's a ton last year as well. They've disappeared this year compared to last season.

I tend to agree but that doesn't mean he can't improve or shouldn't be expected to improve. It goes for all the coaches and players. At least CK admitted he should have punted on at least one of those 50+ yd fgs.

I knew he was here, didn't know it was for as long as it was. Thought he was around as an assistant in the late 2000's then left. The fact that he was here that long makes his offensive philosophy even harder to understand.

Probably shouldn't have said resume either; he's not actively thinking about the next job. I think his ego is the main problem; it needs credit for the success of NDSU, and he can't get that if the offense would've stayed the same. Must've felt he had to change something, and I disagree with him.

Agree on the recruiting side, undecided at best on him being good for the program.

They're just obsessed with kicking. Did it even register that they were in 4 down territory?

Don't capitulate just because most here disagree. I'm in your camp big time. We win inspite of/despite CP. he needs to quit being cute in his play calling. Cute = stupid really!!

Serious question...what do you think Klieman thinks of Polasek?
