I guess that depends on your meaning of reckless. Sure, he's put his head down at the goal line to try and push through for a TD. Sure, he's scrambled for extra yards and ran sideways instead of going down. But I can't think of a play in open space where he was hit hard enough where I said to myself, "Why Carson?" He's athletic and uses that to his advantage. His body will tell him when he can't do it any more. And until then, I think he should continue playing the way has. Like I said, his knee injury was a fluke.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.

While I agree with you...there has most definitely been more than one instance where he decided not to slide. Even announcers have commented that he needs to change that and know when to simply slide instead of trying for the extra 2 inches midfield.

Still amazes me looking at some Philly fans comments thinking that Foles is the better QB. He had two good games, maybe?

The last time this debate was going on pucknut9 said Carson was going to be Carson. I think he should know better than anyone.

His rookie year I would agree he made some poor choices. I thought he was much better at getting down or avoiding big hits last year. The play he got injured was a fluke deal and I'm still not entirely sure he didn't sustain the injury just pryor to diving into the endzone rather then the hit.

So much truth. I agree, the injury likely did not happen at the end of that play. What makes Carson so great is his competitiveness and doubt he changes much. He will just play smarter and do well.

Eagles and Roseman do a Steller job with depth. Don’t think Foles will be on the block for less than a YUGE deal unless the other backup qbs are showing great gains.

It is just preseason but 3rd stringer Nate Sudfeld has been pretty good throwing for 450 yards and 5 TDs in two games. It's widely speculated that the Eagles will carry 3 QBs on the 53 man roster since it's unlikely they can get Sudfeld through waivers and onto the practice squad. I've heard there's actually a trade market for Sudfeld even so the Eagles definitely have the depth to move one of their QBs if the right offer comes along.
