Apparently Carson’s foundation will be creating a food truck to drive around Philly and give out food to those in need. The true Wentz Wagon.

Sounds like Carson's charity softball game last night was a huge success. Sold almost as many tickets as the Phillies average.

"Softball event shows Carson Wentz starting to flex his off-field muscle as a Philadelphian "

FTA: Right now, anything having to do with the Eagles is very big – bigger than ever, in a town where the Eagles are important 365 days a year. But it was still mildly surprising to see Citizens Bank Park looking nearly half-full Friday evening for the first Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation charity softball game, featuring Team (Jordan) Hicks against Team Wentz. Hicks and Wentz, still recovering from 2017 season-ending injuries, limited themselves to managing the 28 participants.

Foundation officials said about 25,000 tickets were sold in advance, priced from $5 to $100.

Carson Wentz is going to be most popular athlete in Philly history

FTA: While sitting at his charity softball game on Friday night, it hit me: Carson Wentz is going to become the most popular athlete in Philadelphia sports history.

And I’m not sure that’s much of a stretch.

Although, it would be pretty impressive considering the type of athletes who have come through this city: Dr. J, Wilt, Chase Utley, Bubba Chuck, Michael Jack, Bobby Clarke, Reggie White, Dawk, Nick Foles. And I’m saying Wentz has the potential to be more popular than all of them.

Carson Wentz harnessing star power to help less fortunate

FTA: The Phillies were out west playing the San Francisco Giants over the weekend, yet more than 25,000 fans showed up to Citizens Bank Park on Friday night.

    That's the power of QB1.

Carson Wentz's inaugural charity softball game attracted a big audience and raised over $850,000 for Wentz's A01 Foundation, whose mission statement is to "uplift individuals and communities around the world by demonstrating God's love for his people."

Wentz met some resistance during the planning stages for the game when he suggested he wanted to hold it at either the Phillies' stadium or Lincoln Financial Field, where the Eagles play.
