It was not absurd. Stick went what 8-0 with the playoffs to get to the Natty. Nobody knew except for the coaches what he as doing behind the scenes and where his rehab was at. It was Stick who got the team to the Natty. Unless you know what the coaches know Stick is who you go with.
There is no debate over Foles and Wentz. Look at the pay check and the fact he would have been the MVP.
